Mepilex® Ag is a versatile antimicrobial foam dressing – for when you need an antimicrobial action to reduce bioburden in the wound.

  • Mode of Action
    • This silver foam dressing can inactivate wound relevant pathogens (bacteria and fungi)
    • Rapid and sustained antimicrobial activity - Antimicrobial action is indicated to help reduce bioburden in infected wounds.
    • Also acts as an antimicrobial barrier in wounds at high risk of infection or re-infection.

  • Mepilex Ag adheres gently with Safetac® – the original less-pain contact layer with silicone adhesion

    • Less pain during dressing changes.

  • Indication
    • It’s designed for low to medium exuding burns and wounds.
